A three-year production
Carnival Magic's operator describes the River Carnival Parade as three years in the making, with a cast of over 150 performers and 150 crew members working the show across a stage that runs past seventy metres wide.
Aerial ballet and animatronics
The parade combines aerial ballet, carnival dancers and animatronics with special effects, built around costumed figures and procession barges the park describes as among the largest it has assembled.
Figures up to eight metres tall
Some of the parade's costumed figures stand up to eight metres — scaled to be read from the back of the Paradium seating area rather than up close.
Two showings a night
The parade plays twice on every open night, at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Picking a showing decides whether your dinner comes before or after it.
Nine Guinness World Records
The park holds nine Guinness World Records altogether, including the record for the most lights used in a permanent light and sound show, verified in October 2021 — the installation the parade and the Kingdom of Lights both sit inside.
Where to watch from
Standard admission includes a seat at the Paradium, the parade's dedicated seating area; the Royal Seat upgrade, added to either ticket, moves you into a closer section for the same showing.
